Trey Whitt, CPA
Founder & Managing Member
Trey Whitt is the founder and managing member of Whitt Accounting & Advisory, LLC, a firm dedicated to serving dental, orthodontic, and specialty healthcare practices through outsourced accounting, tax advisory, and strategic consulting services. With more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, Trey has developed deep expertise in the financial and operational challenges unique to dental practice owners.
Throughout his career, Trey has worked extensively with dentists, orthodontists, and multi-location practice groups, advising clients on tax strategy, profitability improvement, cash flow management, practice transitions, and long-term growth planning. His experience includes helping practice owners navigate acquisitions, associate buy-ins and buy-outs, entity structuring, compensation planning, and operational benchmarking.
Prior to founding Whitt Accounting & Advisory, Trey served as a partner at Dent Moses, LLP, where he built a strong reputation within the dental industry for delivering practical, forward-looking financial guidance. His background working closely with healthcare professionals has given him a detailed understanding of the economics of dental practices and the importance of aligning financial strategy with clinical and operational goals.
Today, Trey focuses on providing proactive advisory services that go beyond traditional compliance work. He partners closely with dental and orthodontic practices to develop scalable financial systems, improve reporting visibility, streamline back-office operations, and create strategies that support sustainable profitability and long-term practice value.
In addition to his work with Whitt Accounting & Advisory, Trey is involved in specialized accounting and consulting initiatives tailored specifically to orthodontic and specialty healthcare practices nationwide. His client relationships are built on responsiveness, technical expertise, and a commitment to helping practice owners make informed business decisions with confidence.

Mandy Barley, BSHA, ASDH, RSH
Chief Operating Officer
Mandy Barley serves as Chief Operating Officer at Whitt Accounting & Advisory, LLC, where she specializes in operational consulting, outsourced accounting support, and practice management services for dental and orthodontic practices. With more than 25 years of experience in the dental industry, Mandy brings a rare combination of clinical knowledge, operational leadership, and business expertise to the firm’s dental-focused advisory services.
Mandy began her career as a Registered Dental Hygienist and holds National Board Certification in Dental Hygiene. Over the course of her career, she has worked extensively in dental office management, practice operations, provider credentialing, and practice transitions. Her firsthand experience inside dental practices gives her a deep understanding of the operational and financial challenges practice owners face on a daily basis.
At Whitt Accounting & Advisory, Mandy works closely with dentists, orthodontists, and leadership teams to improve operational efficiency, strengthen internal processes, and provide meaningful financial visibility through streamlined reporting and practice support systems. She plays a key role in helping clients bridge the gap between clinical operations and financial performance, allowing practice owners to make informed business decisions with confidence.
Mandy also co-founded OrthoLedger, LLC, a specialized outsourced accounting and consulting firm dedicated exclusively to orthodontic practices. Through this work, she continues to focus on helping dental specialists simplify operations, improve profitability, and gain clarity around key performance metrics critical to long-term growth and practice success.
In addition to her industry experience, Mandy earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from Faulkner University, further strengthening her ability to guide dental practices through both operational and financial challenges.

Victoria Speake
Staff Accountant
Victoria Speake is an accounting professional at Whitt Accounting & Advisory, LLC, where she focuses on providing accounting, advisory, and client support services for dental and healthcare practices. Combining a strong academic background with firsthand dental industry experience, Victoria brings a unique perspective to helping clients navigate the financial and operational aspects of their practices.
Victoria graduated summa cum laude from Auburn University at Montgomery with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting, earning recognition as the Chancellor’s Scholar. She later completed her Master of Accountancy at Auburn University at Montgomery, further strengthening her technical accounting and financial expertise. During her time at AUM, Victoria demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership and professional development, serving as President of the Accounting Club, participating in Beta Alpha Psi, and earning membership in Beta Gamma Sigma.
Prior to entering public accounting, Victoria gained more than five years of experience working in a dental office, where she developed a deep appreciation for the dental profession and the operational challenges practice owners face. That experience sparked her passion for combining dentistry and accounting into a career focused on supporting dental practices through financial organization, operational insight, and proactive client service.
At Whitt Accounting & Advisory, Victoria works closely with the firm’s dental-focused team to support clients with accounting processes, financial reporting, and advisory initiatives designed to help practices operate more efficiently and make informed business decisions. Her background in both dentistry and accounting allows her to understand client needs from both a financial and operational perspective.
Victoria is committed to continued professional growth and plans to pursue her CPA license as she advances her career in dental and healthcare accounting.
